This weekend was warm enough, that when Emma went out to play in the slushy snow, we thought it would be fun to let Ashlyn go out too. Aside from looking at it through the windows, Ashlyn had not really experienced the snow this winter. So we dressed her up, and took her out for her first snow encounter. She liked it for about the first 30 seconds. Then she realized that snow is cold and wet, and she'd rather not be sitting in it. We took off one of her mittens to let her touch it, and she wasn't so wild about that either. She touched it once and vowed never to do that again. After being held for a while, she decided that she would walk around on the snow, if Mom would hold her hands. So, overall I'd say she likes snow about as much as I do. That'll probably change next year, though. (Her opinion of it, not mine.)
