Today was such a nice day, we went out to play! It's hard to deny a little girl's request to go to a park on a "warm" day like today. (In a few months we'll think today's high in the 50's is frigid. But after a cold winter, 50's feels like summer right now!) We found a park that had pretty much all of the ice and snow gone, and it wasn't very muddy either. First thing we did there was introduce Ashlyn to the swings. I wasn't sure how that would go, considering she never really liked her baby swing for more than about 30 seconds. But she loved the swings at the park! She had Emma and me in stitches! She was laughing so hard and kicking her feet while I pushed her.
After that, the girls went down the slide together a few times. And Emma had fun trying to catch Ashlyn at the bottom. It's going to be fun to get out more this spring and summer and try out different parks with Ashlyn.
