HOOKT ON FONIKS

When we got a new computer, earlier this year, we left our old one hooked up on the coffee table in our front room. It was taking forever to get all our old files onto our new computer, so keeping the old one close by was a way to still have access to everything. As the computer continued to sit there, Emma became more proficient at the two programs we let her play with--Word and Paint. She loves to type pretend letters to people in Word, and she has recently started sounding out words and trying to type them too. Usually the words she tries to type are small, like kitten (KITN). This morning she excitedly called Dakota in to see what she had typed--it was her first sentence. See if you can make sense of it:
PR PRETJHT D RRD UV D LORD.
It's a verse she learned at her Wednesday night Cubbies class at church. What she was trying to type was, "Paul preached the Word of the Lord." We thought it was a pretty good attempt at sounding it all out.

That is great! I had no idea what it said but once I read your translation it makes perfect sense! She is doing really well!
