When they came back, Emma gave me my mother's day present--a song she wrote and had been working on since before we left for our trip. I thought Dakota must have helped her or maybe she heard it somewhere and memorized it, but no, she came up with it all on her own and sang it to me. Very cool.
After that, we packed up and headed to Animal Kingdom. Once again, we got there later than we had hoped, and we found ourselves literally running to get to the Lion King show so we would be able to fit it in before lunch. Exhausted, we made it, but just barely. Actually, we were about 3 minutes late, but they still let us in. What a great show they put on there!
Then we had lunch at the Tusker House--another character dinning experience. Again, the kids loved it, but I'd had my fill. Between characters stopping for autographs and pictures every 3 minutes, a parade where the kids dance around the restaurant, and waiting on the chef to come show us what was safe for Emma to eat in the buffet (b/c of her peanut allergy) I don't think we got to sit down to eat for 20 minutes after we got to our table.
After lunch, we used some fast passes to get on the Safari ride. Though, we did have to wait a little while to get on the ride, since by the time we got there, Josiah had passed out in his stroller and we couldn't take the stroller through the line with us.
Fortunately, he made it a short nap, and the lady guarding the fast pass line let us in, even though our fast pass tickets had expired. It was a great safari ride, with lots of animals out roaming around, including this scary creature...
One of the neatest things was a giraffe that was standing
right next to the road. He was so close
we probably could have reached out and touched him!

After the safari, the kids played in the bone yard playground until it was time to go to Finding Nemo--the musical. Despite the fact that we were in the second-to-last row, it was still a great show!
When Nemo ended, we treated ourselves to some frozen lemonades and headed back to the hotel. The girls had really been wanting to try out the hotel's water park and water playground.
After the kids had had their fill of the water, we ate a late dinner and headed for bed.
