I've cleaned my counter tops a couple times now, and they're still very sparkly. It's not because they're super duper clean, but because glitter is hard to get off of pretty much everything. Not sure what came over me, but this year I loaded up on unfinished wooden ornaments and set about making a great mess all over our counter. Here's one example:
Sprinkle glitter over the glue.
Shake off the glitter and repeat.
The finished product! Very pretty and sparkly!
It's been fun to make them, and fun to see the finished products. They look just as fancy as the expensive store-bought ornaments, but are handmade and just a fraction of the cost. Yea for Christmas crafts. :)
