A friend of mine told me that Half Price Books recently posted their summer reading program. Theirs was my favorite reading program last summer. If your child reads 15 minutes a day (or you read to them for at least 15 mins) they can get a $3 shopping card to use in the store. The best thing is this isn't just a one-time deal, it's each week from June 1st, through July 31st. $3 each week (per kid) can add up to a lot of books at that store, especially if you check out the $.50 and $1 clearance shelves!
