I'm not kidding, Ashlyn has been out-eating Emma at several meals recently. For the longest time, Ashlyn was addicted to her baby mush. We tried to give her different table foods from time to time, but unless it was a puff or MumMum (types of baby snacks) she wasn't interested. Emma was eating table food well before she was a year old, so we started wondering if there was something wrong with Ashlyn. But no, each little one just comes in their own time. About two weeks ago, Ashlyn decided to open herself up to the possibility of trying some new foods. At first it was just peas or beans, and now it's anything in sight. If it can be cut up, and it's soft enough for her to handle with the few teeth she has, she will devour it. It's been funny to watch her go after all these new foods lately, and actually out-eat Emma from time to time. I don't think we've really come across anything she doesn't like yet. What I want to know is, we're eating the same foods she is, so how is it that she's getting 10 times the energy we are?
