However, things seem to be working alright so far tonight (knock on wood), so I'm going to do my best to dig my way out from under the piles of pictures and stories from the past week, and share as many as I can tonight. (Before the computer crashes again or someone thinks up some sort of emergency that I have to tend to!)
A week ago Friday we headed to a pumpkin patch for the afternoon. While it was a chilly and windy afternoon, the kids kept warm with all the different activities there. They had a zipline, playground, slides, and a big, bouncy air-pillow thing. Emma spent most of her time on the zipline, and Josiah discovered his love for it at the very end of our time there.
We did eventually make it out to the pumpkin patch, where the kids searched for their own pumpkins.
And some gave up searching for pumpkins, and instead searched for flowers. These purple ones were a big hit!
After finding our pumpkins, we tried out a corn maze. Emma tried to lead us through, but sometimes she needed a little help. It was a good lesson in map reading and following directions!
The kids spent a little more time playing before we said it was time to go. It's a fun fall tradition, and we enjoy trying out a different pumpkin patch each year!
