Farm Fun!

A couple weekends ago we were able to find a couple days to get away to the country.  It was very peaceful, and the weather was amazing!  Dakota wanted to take the girls camping, so we combined it with a visit to his family's farm.  The kids had such a good time, they didn't want to leave.  But who could blame them when they got to...

...drive a tractor,

drive a horse,

drive a four-wheeler,

pet a horse,

pet a dog, (Ashlyn was SO attached to Jag and still keeps talking about him)

hold a chicken,

hug a chicken,

teach a chicken to ride a horse,

camp out under the stars,

or camp out in a bedroom (in Josiah's case),

and go fishing in the morning with the dog!

And I didn't even mention cooking hot dogs and marshmallows over an open camp fire, or picking apples from the tree for breakfast!  Good times.
