Surfer Boy

You might remember an earlier post about Josiah and his first visit to the beach.  He was born for the beach!  He reminded me of that fact again this week when we were outside on the deck.  One of the pool kick boards was laying on the deck, and he stepped onto it, balancing himself like he was on a surf board.  He laughed with excitement, jumped off, and then got back on again.  This played out over and over. 

I told Dakota that someday we will lose him to a place with warm, sandy beaches, like California or Florida.  But I tried to look on the bright side--at least we'll have a warm place to spend our winters!  ;)
