This is what happened yesterday when a little boy decided not to obey his mommy...
We were at my chiropractor's office, when he thought it would be funny to run away from me as I called him. Then he tripped on the carpet and did a face plant into the front edge of a chair. The outside is scabbed over quite a bit and he's got a big fat lip, but the inside is the real mess. It looks like he cut through his lip and cheek about as far as he could go without actually breaking through the skin on the outside of his face. It's pretty gnarly on the inside.
But he's not letting it slow him down any! Even his current soft-food diet isn't getting him down. In fact, he had a good time today rubbing it in to the girls that he got to have special foods and they didn't. "No fair!" the girls cried. But he just sat there loving the attention.
